■While a medical student at Nagoya University, forms a jazz club called "Hot Club of Japan, Nagoya Branch". Hosts record concerts over 40 times.

■Graduates Nagoya University Medical School.

■Opens Uchida Hospital (Uchida Byoin Geka, a surgical hospital).

■Establishes his "Doctor's Studio" within Uchida Hospital.

■Founds the "Yamaha Jazz Club" and participates (as President) 150 times over 35 consecutive years. Enters the Suzuka Circuit and other car races in Japan, participating as a semi-professional racer sponsored by Prince Automobiles (now Nissan).

■Closes Uchida Hospital in Okazaki and retires.
(N.B.: Dr. Uchida remains an advisor to Uchida Hospital in Toyota to this day.)
